Der Name leitet sich wohl daher ab, dass man da alles wieder verpackt und wegr\u00e4umt. Kommt aus England der Ausdruck.<\/p>\n<p>Unser Weihnachten lief w.z.e.w. bei sommerlichen Temperaturen und knallblauem Himmel sehr unweihnachtlich.<\/p>\n<p>Gestern, am 24., waren wir am Cape Naturaliste, das ist das Kap an der Nordwestseite der Margaret River Region. Im S\u00fcdwesten ist&#8217;s das Cape Leeuwin, wo wir vor ein paar Tagen waren. Trotz &#8220;Naturaliste&#8221; darf man angezogen bleiben. ;-) Vom Parkplatz &#8220;The Other Side of the Moon&#8221;, warum auch immer der so hei\u00dft, konnten wir tolle Aussichten auf die zerkl\u00fcftete K\u00fcstenlandschaft des Kaps geniesen und auf den Tracks etwas umherwandern. Danach ging es in eine Winery namens Vasse Felix zum Wein probieren. Man muss schon aufpassen, sonst l\u00e4uft man da nach kurzer Zeit betrunken wieder raus. ;-) Sehr sch\u00f6ne Sache, denn die Weing\u00fcter hier sind meist sehr h\u00fcbsch aufgemacht, die Weinverkostung und ein Restaurant dabei sind ein zweites Standbein. Zum Abschluss des Tages waren wir, sozusagen auf dem Weg zum Campingplatz noch kurz in Busselton an der ca 2km langen Jetty. Hier war ich 2009 ja tauchen. Aus den in Jurien Bay von den Anglern geschenkt bekommenen Fischfilets und Exmouth Garnelen bestand unser Weihnachtsessen.<\/p>\n<p>Heute, am 25., haben wir uns um Grunde genommen nur gem\u00fctlich die K\u00fcste zwischen Cape Naturaliste und Redgate Beach, das ist wenige Kilometer s\u00fcdlich von Margaret River, angeschaut und waren an einem halben Dutzend toller Str\u00e4nde. Bilder mit Weihnachtsm\u00fctze auf durften nat\u00fcrlich nicht fehlen. ;-) Einen 1949 aus Deutschland ausgewanderten Mann haben wir am Redgate Beach getroffen. Nach seiner deutlichen Anspielung auf seinen Namen und Google &#8220;You can see on Google what I do!&#8221; haben wir ihn halt direkt mal gegooglet. &#8220;WA Scientist of the Year&#8221;. Arbeitet an der UWA, der University of Western Australia. Soso, Prominenz am Strand. ;-) Das zweite Weihnachtsessen wird Fajitas sein, Tobias schl\u00e4ft gleich, dann geht&#8217;s los.<\/p>\n<p>Morgen brechen wir in den Norden Richtung Perth auf. Viel anzuschauen gibt es auf den 300km dorthin auch nicht.
