Na also, wenn etwas mehr Zeit als 10 Minuten ist, klappt es auch mit einem Linuxdesktopsystem. Den USB Stick findet man unter \/media\/sda1 , zumindest in dem Fall hier. Interessant, man lernt immer wieder dazu. Das kommt davon, wenn man nur Linux von der Cmdline aus kennt und mit USB oder anderen PnP Medien oder Sound etc pp noch gar nix unter Linux gemacht hat.<\/p>\n

Eben sind wir zurueck von Magnetic Island ans Festland nach Townsville gekommen. Magnetic Island ist toll, ganz anders, weil total steinig. Auch die Vegetation sieht eher aus wie in Suedeuropa wie in den Tropen. Der Tauchgang heute morgen an der Moltke (nicht Molke) war gut, wenngleich von den Wrack nicht viel zu sehen ist. Mehr ein Schrottplatz als ein Wrack. Die Amis haben hier im zweiten Weltkrieg ihre Flieger mit Bomben ueben lassen. Aber trotzdem toll, viele Steinkorallen und kleine Schwarmfische. Ein schoener Tauchgang. Aber natuerlich nicht zu vergleichen mit der Yongala.<\/p>\n

Hier nun endlich wieder neue Bilder, Bilder von Magnetic Island gibt es beim naechsten Mal. Die Tauchbilder von der Yongala sind unbearbeitet, trotzdem ganz nett. Leider wie gesagt viel Ausschuss dabei, v.a. wegen der Stroemung. :-\/<\/p>\n

Hatte ich die Tage schon geschrieben, dass der Billabong Sanctuary wenige Kilometer suedlich von Townsville wohl ein Paradies fuer Frauen und Kinder ist? Ueberall frei herumlaufende und zahme Kaengurus und Voegel. Fuer Maenner gibt es dann die Veranstaltungen Hold a Python und Hold a Crocodile… ;-)<\/p>\n

Heute geht es nun direkt weiter nach Norden, es warten zwei Parks mit herrlichen Wasserfaellen auf uns. Einer der Wasserfaelle ist ueber 300 Meter hoch!<\/p>\n
